Oka Japanese Restaurant, Kingly Court, London

Oka Japanese Restaurant, Kingly Court, London

One of our favourite things about London is that you can always guarantee to get a great Japanese feast.

There are so many restaurants to choose from but Oka is now one of our favourites.

We dined at the Oka in Kingly Court, off Carnaby Street, but there is also one on Kings Road in Chelsea and another near Primrose Hill too.

Kingly Court is the perfect place to enjoy al fresco dining, complete with three floors of delightful restaurants and fun cocktail bars.

Oka is easy to spot, the fire engine red building stands proud in the busy space and the warm glow from inside welcomes you in.

Chopsticks at the ready!

We opted for delicious Karaage chicken; crunchy Japanese chicken thighs served with a spicy ketchup.

Salmon Hosomaki; rice rolls wrapped in seaweed with a salmon filling, served with ginger and fresh wasabi.

All washed down with a couple of Cool Cucumber Cocktails; Gin, cucumber, apple juice, lychee and elder flower. Simply delicious.

Whilst there are so many restaurants to choose from in Kingly Court, Oka really is a hidden gem and definitely worth popping into for some delicious Japanese cuisine in a cosy and laid-back setting.

I love the angles you guys used for the photos! Seriously playful 😛 On a more serious note, the food does look delicious. If you ever find yourself in Balham, try out Taro Sushi bar… seriously good stuff. I have a review about it on my blog if you’re curious. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

Also, if you have time, please check out my latest post about Brick &Liquor Cocktail bar – https://tootinghustle.wordpress.com/2017/05/24/brick-and-liquor-in-review/ and let me know what you think!

    Happy blogging! x
